CPD Training and Development

Summit Psychology Services are committed to professional development and provide quality assured, accredited, positively evaluated, and sought after professional development and training. We work with groups, entire organisations, offer keynotes at conference, and collaborate with Geese Theatre to bring innovative and experiential theatre to bring about change for children and young people. Every year we train hundreds of professionals. In 2022 we have trained over 750 people at various events across the country.

Summit training and development draws from evidence based practice, using a range of teaching and learning styles. This may include lecture style, hands on experiential learning, theatre, peer discussion, knowledge sharing, cafe days, references to lived experience, the use of multi-media, and with many complimentary materials made available online post training.

We continue to enjoy working with teacher training schools, educational settings, mental health and safeguarding leads, virtual schools, SENDCo forums, social care, parents and carers, and commissioners. Offering a wide range of CPD training in all areas of applied child and educational psychology and specialising in adversity and trauma, we value collaboration to meet your needs.

We offer different training options from live virtual training, webinars and podcasts to in person training and workshops. We can attend your setting, or venue of your choice. 'The Sanctuary', at 1 Barracks Square is our own training facility where you can experience true Summit hospitality in an intimate and nurturing space.
